Family Sessions x3!

Fall is coming! How how how are we just weeks away from the first day of school when literally yesterday I was making a summer bucket list for the girls and I.

While I'm sad that the fun freedom of summer is almost over and I'll miss the random afterwork hours at the pool, I am excited to get back to a routine and to enjoy the beauty of fall with you all. We just dropped our open fall dates at the Illinois studio to our email list (if you're not there, you're missing out). And we have just a few openings for Missouri families, teens and seniors PLUS our first ever Headshot Happy Hour coming up 9/5 (Missouri).

Today, I wanted to give you a little insight on the difference between our Limited Edition and Classic Family sessions and show off a few long-time SJP families too.

Classic Family Sessions

The Deets | 45 minutes, 1-2 outfits, 1 location, immediate families (90 minute for extended families), includes pets, pre-session planning & after-session image Premiere & order design with me!

This session is for you if you haven't had family portraits created in a few years or we are at a milestone year (newborn/5/10/15/senior) for your children or if it's your first session with me. Why? We have more time to create more. More time gives us time for variety in posing, backdrops as we explore the location, outfit changes and just time to slow down and enjoy without a rush. This is the session to disconnect, put the devices down and enjoy your family for 45 minutes.

Plus, this session is fully customizable. Though we're here to help with location and outfit selection the sky's the limit on where we go and when (sessions offered year-round). Think outside the box for personal locations like your home, family farm, favorite sports stadium, lake house, etc.

Limited Edition Sessions

The Deets | 15 minutes, 1 outfit, photographer chosen date/location, up to 6 people/pets, includes after-session image Premiere & order design with me!

This session is for you if you have family portraits created annually, if it's an 'in-between' year not a milestone year and if you'd like a taste of the SJP portrait experience on a tighter budget. Sessions are quick which works great for short attention spans but means we are limited to a more streamlined process in one area. These are the sessions for an annual Christmas card update!

The Conn Family

Again a family I've gotten to photograph for some time and it's a joy every dang time! While are peek a boo behind the camera games might be done for these guys, it's still just as important to me to show off their individual personalities and family relationships too.

The Stoops Family

Wedding bells is how it all began with the Stoops and I and through business headshots and now family portraits we've done a bit of it all together! This guy will still peek-a-boo with me for a while longer I think. And this last image... beautifully featured on their living room wall in a striking feature-size canvas portrait!
